Jen's Journal June (Mid-May to Late June!)

Hi Alpine Fit friends,

Here is a round-up of all the things happening behind the scenes at Alpine Fit over the past few weeks. It has been a whirlwind of activity, with exciting events, new product launches, and the joy of welcoming visitors from near and far. So, let's dive into Jen's Journal from mid-May to mid-June!

First up, we're thrilled to announce that we will have a booth at the 4th of July Seward Mount Marathon Festival from July 2nd to 4th. We’re especially excited to have our special friend Mallory from Youer joining us with her booth. We've got some fantastic surprises in store for you, including a brand new Alpine Fit product launch! Plus, we'll be showcasing some awesome gear from Tough Cutie merino wool socks and WhitePaws RunMitts to accessorize your summer adventures. Make sure to stop by and say hi!

We are also hosting an amazing giveaway together with Antidote pre-workout. We've put together four awesome prize packages, each including some of Alpine Fit's bestsellers. Check out the giveaway details and enter here. Don’t forget, you need to enter by June 30th!

One of the highlights this month was launching a new color for our all-time bestselling accessory, the Nordic Anywhere Merino Wool Hat. The new Rust color adds a touch of warmth to any adventure, both in function and style. This hat is a favorite among Alpine Fit fans for many reasons – it breathes well, packs small, fits under a helmet, and is perfect for unexpected adventures year-round. At Alpine Fit, we believe in timeless, season-less products, and our Nordic Hat is no exception.

We’re also excited to tease another new product that we will be launching in person at the 4th of July event. Stay tuned for more details!

The summer weather has been absolutely fantastic, perfect for hiking, running, biking, and camping. The snow in the alpine is melting fast, making way for some amazing trails and scenic views. We've been making the most of it, getting out there and enjoying the great outdoors.

Family visits have added an extra dose of fun to our lives. We've had relatives on vanlife road trips from the lower 48, and we even met up in Denali National Park for a hike. It’s been a wonderful time catching up and sharing the beauty of Alaska with our loved ones.

This month, I had the privilege of joining the Garage Grown Gear and Treeline Review panel to discuss what it takes to start an outdoor gear brand. It was an inspiring experience, and I came away with some great insights and new connections.

At the Alpine Fit HQ, we had another silly round of “Clog Friday,” and we even had a day of unplanned matching outfits – it’s these little moments that make our workplace often filled with laughter and joy!

We've also seen an influx of tourists visiting our store and workshop, and we love meeting people from out of town and out of state. Remember, we offer tours at our workshop, so come on by and see where the magic happens!

Our summer store hours are in full swing. The workshop is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (700 W 41st Ave, Ste B, Anchorage, Alaska), and the store is open Tuesday to Friday 11am-6pm, and Saturday 11am-5pm (908 W Northern Light Blvd, Anchorage, Alaska). There will be a few irregular hours around the holidays like the 4th of July, but otherwise, we're here to outfit your adventures!

Our bestsellers this past month have been flying off the shelves. The top 5 include the Nordic Anywhere Merino Wool Hat, Merino Wool Lined Headband, Bushwhacking Leggings, Rendezvous Ridge Long Sleeve, and Treeline Long Sleeve. Honorary mention to the Ridgeline Racerback Tank Top which is running out quick, in limited sizes available so get yours while you can!
