Head Down, Chin Up—Onward We Go

Hey Alpine Fit friends,

I’m fired up about everything we’re doing to build a stronger business on the back end over here. Every day, we’re working hard to improve processes, develop exciting new products, and manage our small in-house team, along with the freelancers and contractors this small remote brand works to support. It’s energizing work, and I love it.

On the front end, though, I’m weathering the storm. Sales and spending are stifled by anxiety and high economic uncertainty. The broader business environment is tough right now. Somehow, I’ve got my head down while trying to keep my chin up—focusing on the future and believing we’ll come out stronger on the other side.

We’re pushing forward with our usual optimism, driven by our vision to inspire free-spirited adventures. At the same time, I’ve had to compartmentalize—protecting my excitement and passion for building something great from the weight of how difficult it is to sustain a business right now and to provide livelihoods through the revenue a company is supposed to generate.

We’re certainly working hard over here, and we’ll weather yet another storm. Considering we started Alpine Fit right before COVID, imagine how strong and resilient we’ve become! Just think of what we’ll be able to accomplish if we ever get to experience “boom” times. Onward we go.

With gratitude,

Jen Loofbourrow
