Hi Alpine Fit Friends,
I've been burning the candle at both ends a lot lately.
Early mornings, late nights, and squeezing in as much work as I possibly can. I love building Alpine Fit so much that it's really easy to "just do one more thing," and then suddenly it's very late after an early start. I could work on this business endlessly, but every once in a while you just have to switch off for a bit.
This summer has actually been really good for that. I've been taking little breaks here and there to get out on trail runs and spend time with my kids, Willow (our dog!), and Hale, and this past weekend we slipped away to Anacortes for a couple of days with our kids, two friends, and a whole lot of outdoor gear.

It was great. We spent the weekend trail running, mountain biking, wandering around downtown, eating really good food, and squeezing in some World Cup soccer watching lol.
Running a small business can be all-consuming all the time, and I don't always do the best job of stepping away from it because I genuinely love what I do, but experiences like this are so worthwhile, I feel rested and as excited as ever to be back in the thick of it again this week, working on all the facets of running this small brand and business.
I hope you've been finding little pockets of time this summer to get out and enjoy an activity you love with people you care about.
