Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to spend time with the finalists of Title Nine’s Pitchfest — and I’m still buzzing with inspiration. Pitchfest brings together women-led, women-founded brands from across the country, giving them the chance to showcase their ideas, grow their businesses, and connect with a supportive community.
From high ropes challenges to heartfelt pitches, these nine powerhouse women poured their hearts into every moment. I felt so proud and grateful to be part of the journey as a mentor, and to witness firsthand the creativity, courage, and resilience behind their brands.
This year’s finalists included:
@shopbirdieblue | @tobiqtravel | @saturdaystrides | @peachsurfco | @luxxefit.co | @saturdayswimwear | @heydirtybirdy | @thicketadventure | @allover.apparel
I had the absolutely joy of mentoring Kate from Birdie Blue, Charlene from Luxxefit, and Emily from Saturday Swimwear! It is a huge win to make it as a finalist and get all the opportunities that come with traveling to pitchfest and meeting so many other awesome women in the industry. The judges had a super tough time selecting the winners this year, and they even had to go with FOUR brands to award purchase orders! Two of the awesome women entrepreneurs I mentored were among those that won purchase orders: Charlene from Luxxefit and Emily from Saturday Swim (Congrats!!) and the other two brands were Tobiq and Saturday Strides! The conversations don't stop there for all the finalists, purchase order or not, there is still opportunity for so much in the future with Title Nine and beyond for all these awesome women.
Here’s to new friends, favorite familiar faces from past Pitchfests, future opportunities, and the kind of community that lifts women-led brands every step of the way.
