Here's what I wrote on this social media post this week:

I have big news to share, and it is happening very quickly now that we have made the decision!
My family is off on a new adventure chapter of life: we’re moving out of the state of Alaska, to Bellingham, Washington. And yes, Alpine Fit is coming too.
It has been an incredible 11 years of living here in Anchorage, and about 6 years now of building Alpine Fit with the most welcoming and supportive community for what we have worked so hard to create!
To all of you, especially our die hard Alaska Alpine Fit adventure community and entrepreneurial ecosystem supporters: Thank you. Of all the places I have lived, Alaska felt like home the fastest. It is a wonderful place to “find your people” and build something new from scratch. It is sad to say goodbye to a great life, fantastic people and all the adventure places here. I am endlessly appreciative of your excitement for what we have been building. Thank you.
I am an adventurer at my core and super excited for new chapters, new problems and solutions to navigate, to share with you what lies ahead, and come back to visit and adventure—but I will miss you. 💙
Here’s to new adventures near and far,

So, big changes are on the horizon for my family — and for Alpine Fit — but one thing’s for certain: this brand isn’t going anywhere… we’re just going somewhere!
After years of building, growing, and adventuring with you in the wild beauty of Alaska, my family has decided to turn the page on a new adventure chapter of life and move to Bellingham, WA, and the business is moving with us! It’s a new adventure for my family, personally, but also a new stage of growth, development and potential for Alpine Fit. We'll be closer to my family in Vacouver/BC, and great places for adventure. But I will of course miss the people and places in Alaska!
From the very beginning, Alaska has been at the heart of everything we do. It’s where the idea for Alpine Fit was born, where our first base layers were made and tested on real trails, and where I’ve met so many of the amazing people who’ve supported this journey. I want to express my deepest gratitude for all the love, encouragement, and inspiration you’ve shared with me and our small-but-mighty team. I truly love, care for, and value this community, this place, and everyone I’ve had the joy of working with. It is sad to say goodbye to the place where it all started, for sure. For more words from me and the current and future of the business check out this video:
Oh the adventures we have shared together with this awesome community. I miss you already!
In classic Alpine Fit fashion we decided to plan a community event to have a place to chat, say hi (and bye) and lighten the shipping load. We’re hosting a Warehouse Moving Sale on Wednesday July 16th 4-6:30pm at Alpine Fit Warehouse 700 W 41st Ave, Suite B, Anchorage, Alaska! The sale includes samples, previous collection styles, sample fabrics, and event some equipment & office supplies.
We'll have some door crashers and fun finds! Plus check out our social post here for your chance to come an hour early!
RSVP and share the Facebook Event Page Here
Thank you for being part of the Alpine Fit story so far — and for sticking with us as we keep building gear that’s made for real bodies, real adventures, and real communities… wherever they may be.
Here’s to new mountains, new trails, and new adventures!
I appreciate you.
